I was a research analyst in media and advertising. Moving from ITV to the UK's first Internet Service Provider (when only 5% of households had internet access!).
I was responsible for early award winning research into how the internet was being used by consumers and advertisers. I led commercial strategy for Orange, which was then a UK and pan-European online and mobile service provider.
I became a management consultant specialising in business and competitive market strategies built on intelligence. Working with global brands, tech companies and digital startups; advising Boards and investors.
Clients included: American Express, Jaguar Land Rover, Debenhams, Talk Talk, Google, Coca Cola, Orange/France Telecom, AOL, Camelot, EU Commission, Sky and various tech startups, investors and advertising agencies.
You will need to ask me how I ended up working in scaffolding! But 6 years leading strategy and business operations for GKR Scaffolding, led to strategy roles at ISG then Severfield. The whole time working closely with industry organisations across many initiatives to keep pushing the dial.
I grew up in North Yorkshire, went to uni in Manchester (BSc (Hons) Business - with corporate strategy & management sciences), now live in Kent where I raised my family.
I've spent my career based in London but working across the UK and Europe.
My free time is spent practicing Yoga and volunteering at Battersea Dogs Home which I absolutely love!
